StrayProbe® Ti

StrayProbe® is projected for the monitoring of the cathodic protection of all the types of buried structures - pipes, distribution networks, tanks. It is constituted by a reference electrode in titanium activated with a particular formulation of metals oxides and by a steel corrosion coupon, both absorbed in monitored mortar, inside a strong non metallic container. Advantages:
  • It allows IR free measurements of potential or true potential, of buried structures, also in presence of stray, continuous and alternated currents
  • It replaces the On – Instant-off technique
  • In accordance with EN 50162 standard, it facilitates the execution of continuous measurement, in particular in remote monitoring systems
  • It is durable.

StrayProbe® Zn

StrayProbe® is projected for the monitoring of the cathodic protection of all the types of buried structures. pipes, distribution networks, tanks. StrayProbe® Zn combines the advantages of cescor.zero® with the functionalities of Strayprobe® Ti. Advantages:
  • It allows measurements on the IR free potential or true potential, of buried structures, also in presence of stray, continuous and alternated currents
  • it replaces the on-Instant-off technique
  • In accordance with EN 50162 standard, it facilitates the execution of continuous measurements, particularly in remote monitoring systems
  • It is durable.
  • It is not subject to polarization, therefore it doesn't require the use of adapters of impedance or tools to elevated impedance

Zinc Electrodes for applications in sea water

Zinc with an elevated purity reacts once in sea water as a pseudo-reference electrode, and presents an excellent stability in the time.CESCOR has realized a series of assemblings for various applications in sea water:
  • Platforms
  • Piers and other underwater metallic structures
  • Equipment.

AACE Electrode

Cescor AACE is a portable electrode in silver/silver chloride (Ag/AgCl/seawater) for applications in sea water. It is solid, projected to prevent the stagnation of air bubbles and tested to a 100 bar pressure. It can be employed in cathodic protection inspections in sea water, these include subsea inspections with ROV or divers or the so-called dropped cell measurements
Concrete

Corrosion in concrete – Monitoring and protection

The corrosion of the armors is the principal cause of degradation of works in concrete. Besides its inspection services, CESCOR offers specific products for the permanent monitoring.

The Ti-MMO electrode allows, very easily, the measurement of the potential of the armors and the assessment of the corrosion state of the armors in aerial civil structures. The same electrode can be employed in cathodic protection systems for reinforced concrete and for the monitoring of electric interferences in civil works such as subways and railway lines.

The MuRE probe also offers a wide range of applications for the permanent monitoring of corrosion in concrete.

In addition to monitoring, CESCOR also offers a wide range of cathodic protection solutions of the armors, both with impressed currents systems and through galvanic anodes
  • TiMMO Electrode
  • MuRE
  • Corrosion monitoring systems
  • Cathodic protection systems
  • Galvanic anodes for concrete

TiMMO Electrode

It is a permanent reference electrode for the control of corrosion in reinforced concrete structures. It consists in a probe in titanium activated with mixed metals oxides enriched by iridium - and immersed in a monitored mortar that maintains the pH around the probe constant and guarantees in time the long term stability of the electrochemical potential. The applications include: corrosion monitoring, stray currents monitoring, and the control of cathodic protection.

MūRE

Mūre is a probe for the monitoring of corrosion in reinforced concrete structures. It consists in a series of linear reference electrodes in nickel Ni. It supplies the mapping of potential of the steel reinforcement. It tracks the pitting ignition and it allows to preventively diagnose hydrogen embrittlement conditions in high resistivity steels. It is the only reference electrode for the monitoring of pre-stressed and post-tensioned concrete structures.

Cathodic Protection

CESCOR designs and assembles, with the contribution of a series of qualified suppliers, a series of products for the realization of cathodic protection systems.

These products are characterized by a peculiar personalization based on this specific application. The attention is focused on reliability requirements, robustness and durability, always pursuing the company sustainability vision.

  • Cathodic protection transformer rectifiers
  • Galvanic anodes: aluminium, zinc and magnesium alloys; ARMCO iron.
  • Impressed current anodes.
  • Distribution monitoring and junction boxes
  • Electric cables.
  • Acquisition and monitoring systems.
  • Installation tools

Air cooled Transformer Rectifiers Units 25 V / 200 A

It is a transformer rectifier unit air cooled for cathodic protection applications in sea water, in particular for harbour constructions, piers and platforms. It is designed to strictly observe business requirements and in accordance with the applicable legislation.

Galvanic Anode Pod

It is a trapezoidal structure realized with galvanic anodes designed by CESCOR for the retrofit of structures in shallow waters. One or more anodes pods are positioned on the sea bed, in the proximity of the structure to be protected, for instance a platform jacket; the electric contact is assured through a cable connected to the structure.

Galvanic Anode Sled

It is a sled like structure with galvanic anodes, designed by CESCOR for the retrofit of subsea pipelines. The sizing of the anodes is carried out according to the current need.

ICCP anode sled

It is a sled like structure designed by CESCOR for applications of impressed current cathodic protection retrofit. It is constituted by a base in concrete that supports, through fiberglass stirrups, a series of tubular anodes made of titanium activated with noble metals oxides. This is connected to the structure to protect through a double-armed anodic cable.

Ti-MMO Rod Anode

It is an assembling of a bar anode made of titanium activated by noble metals oxides (Ti-MMO) studied for the installation on sheet piling or poles exposed to sea water. It is characterized by notable robustness and ease of installation.
